If you’re wondering, “MFM” stands for “Minty Fresh Monster”. Sort of like the “Jolly Green Giant”, but more trendy, or something. The Minty Fresh Monster was born in the fall of 2007, after three months of trying to figure out a good name for this T-shirt company. He's green, hairy, and a pretty laid back dude. Saman, a Minneapolis native, started MFM Apparel as a creative outlet for his artwork. MFM wouldn't exist without the help of Erica, who manages the business side of things, Kjell, who handles the website, Alex Mitchell, the former co-owner and current supporter, and countless friends who have encouraged us to keep releasing new designs.

Saman

Saman

Owner/Designer

He's a dedicated artist, designer, and illustrator with a passion for T-shirt design. He loves to draw, and with every order, he makes one-of-a-kind drawings for our customers. Mostly for fun. But we think you'll like them too. His work is inspired by years of too much cartoon watching, video game playing, and comic book reading.

Erica

Erica

Business Manager

She's in charge of the business side of MFM Apparel, and also does other cool stuff like carve stamps, fold shirts, and tweet. In addition to working for MFM, Erica is a ceramicist and painter.

Kjell

Computer guy

According to him, he is, “not the talented one here,” but he, “just built the website.” Kjell was around way before MFM, and bought Saman’s first shirt ever, a one-color print of a line drawing of Albert Einstein. He wears it to this day.
